These Are Our
Services
01.
Class Observation
Classrooms would benefit from the observation as a means to support educators in appreciating the unique qualities of their students.
The Occupational Therapist (OT) will join the class to observe the entire group during both motor-based and seated activities. During these sessions, the children’s motor skills, attention, and regulation capabilities will be thoughtfully assessed.
Following these observations, the OT will collaborate with educators to share their insights and propose strategies tailored to each student’s specific needs.
As a result of this collaborative effort, some students may be identified as potential candidates for follow-up group or individual therapy, while all participants will receive a valuable list of strategies to enhance their learning experience.

02.
Group Consultations
Continuing support for classroom consultations or when multiple individuals face similar challenges.
The Occupational Therapist (OT) will initiate a pre-session discussion with teachers and, if applicable, parents, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the specific challenges being encountered.
Subsequently, the OT will conduct an in-class observation, with a focus on periods of transition or challenging moments within the child’s daily routine. During this observation, the OT may offer demonstrations of strategies to facilitate the learning process for educators.
Following the session, the OT will provide a valuable list of strategies tailored to the child’s unique needs and the neurodiversity of the classroom environment, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
